A new era
The 1980s would see continued, steady growth for the newly-incorporated business. In the early part of the decade, a section of the store was designated as a Parts Department, facilitated by the competitive prices of parts that were being purchased for the company's sprayer business. In 1981, a small wholesale business was purchased from an Amish man named David King, who was selling some drive equipment - pulleys, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, and so on. With a list of accounts, Nelson became the company's first on-the-road sales guy for power drive equipment and sprayer parts.
